36-year-old Sampdoria forward and Italy international Fabio Quagliarella will take the traditional oath on the opening day of the 2019 Viareggio Cup on Monday 11 March. Quagliarella participated in the tournament thrice, from 2000 to 2002, with Torino. Quagliarella is a clear example of the ageless art of goal scoring.
